Chris Brown cruises in his Porsche 911 as he prepares to fight 'hit and run' charge
He's still dealing with the aftermath of getting involved in a fender bender in his Range Rover.
But
on Thursday, Chris Brown didn't look like he had a care in the world as
he cruised around Los Angeles in his cherry red Porsche 911.
Chatting
with a friend in the passenger seat, the R'n'B singer didn't seem
unduly phased by the record temperatures in the southern California
city.
Jazzy little number: Chris Brown was cruising about LA in his cherry red Porsche 911 on Thursday
Earlier this week it was reported
that Brown allegedly lost his cool with a woman he rear-ended and asked
her: 'Who do you think you are, b****?'
According
to a report, the confrontation became so heated that Brown's on-off
girlfriend Karrueche Tran had to shout at Chris: 'Don't touch her, don't
touch her!'
TMZ obtained Olga
Gure-Kovalenko's statement to police after he collided with her
Mercedes, she describes how they both pulled over to take photographs of
the vehicles.
Nice set of wheels: Brown seemed happy in his cheeky little number
Taking time out: Brown's been deluged with issues recently but seemed to be enjoying his day with friends
Olga
then recalls how she asked for Chris' driver's license, registration and
insurance information but Karrueche handed her driving licence.
Olga insisted upon seeing Brown's
documents then asked for a picture of the two of them together at the
scene unless they later split.
Olga said: 'The guy [Chris] tried to grab camera or me. I jumped back,
the girl [Karrueche] screamed, "Don't touch her, don't touch her!'"
Allegedly, Chris then started to scream: 'You are a bitch! Who do you
think you are, bitch? Do you think if you driving Mercedes so got
money, bitch?'
Chris is then alleged to have added: 'Do you think I am just a black n***er.'
Boys time: There was no sign of Chris's on/off girlfriend Karrueche Tran
Fighting back: Chris' lawyer refutes the claim that he left the scene of a crash without exchanging his information
Olga concluded that he then 'slammed a door and drove away fast and noisy.'
But Chris's lawyer Mark Geragos,
tells TMZ, that Brown gave the other driver his Virginia driver's
license and also gave her an insurance card.
Apparently he has two cars and the Fireman's Insurance card he handed
over was for his Lamborghini and not the Range Rover he was driving.
Geragos says he acknowledges he didn't
have a California driving licence but that to charge him for not
handing over the right information is out of line.
Brown's legal woes continue to roll on with the singer now allegedly being charged with hit and run.
TMZ reports that the 24-year-old singer has been hit with two criminal charges by the L.A. City Attorney.
See? No damage: He also updated his avatar on the social
networking site, changing it to a picture of the Mercedes in question in
an effort to prove that there was no damage done to the other car
The scene of the crime: Chris and his on and off
again girlfriend Karrueche Tran were pictured taking photos of woman's
car on the day the incident occurred back in May
Brown's Range Rover reportedly inflicted 'medium damage' on the Mercedes in Toluca Lake in May, according to a report from TMZ.
Brown, who didn't try and flee the
scene, has more to lose than most as he's still on probation for beating
on and off girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.
As well as reportedly being charged with hit and run, he has also been charged with driving without a license, claim TMZ.
Each
charge carries a maximum of six months in jail, however the City
Attorney is said to be intent on raising the incidents with the L.A.
County D.A.
He could face prison: Chris could be in
violation of his parole and if he is found guilty he could be sentenced
to up to four years in prison
Chris could be in violation of his parole and if he is found guilty he could be sentenced to up to four years in prison.
Chris on Tuesday spoke out about the
reports on his Twitter account, calling the incident 'ridiculous' and
denying that he gave the other driver false details.
'It's
not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has
NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous,' he wrote.
'I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene.'
The singer then accused the woman of trying to make money out of the incident.
'She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper
Accusations: Meanwhile, Deanna Gines is alleging she was assaulted by Brown in a nightclub on Saturday
'She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures,' he wrote.
'My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism!'
He
also updated his avatar on the social networking site, changing it to a
picture of the Mercedes in question in an effort to prove that there
was no damage done to the other car.
'Based on My profile pic is the pic I
took of the persons car after "the hit and run". NO damage. Just a
dirty car.once again, I gotta clear my name,' he wrote.
Meanwhile, on Monday it was claimed
that Chris did not harm a woman who accused him of assault at a
nightclub, according to the establishment's owner.
Deanna
Gines, 24, alleges that Chris pushed her to the ground while partying
at Heat Ultra Lounge
Nightspot: The alleged incident took place at the Heat Ultra Lounge
Deanna
Gines, 24, alleges that Chris pushed her to the ground while partying
at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California, on Saturday, but the club's
proprietor told the MailOnline that they have reviewed security
footage and insist Chris has been wrongly accused.
'Based
on the information which we have gathered from our security company,
mall security, and other party goers which were at HEAT on Saturday
night; It is apparent that the alleged incident regarding Chris Brown is
false,' they said.
They say Gines had repeatedly tried to
jump on stage during Chris' performance at the club - and later tried
to rush Chris in his roped-off VIP area.
She even threw her heels at security when they tried to eject her.
The owner simply said: 'Heat staff and security did what they had to do ... [Chris] was a complete gentleman.'
Denial: Both Chris's camp and the nightclub say that Chris did not do anything wrong
The
young woman filed a police report with Anaheim Police Department,
accusing the Turn Up the Music hitmaker of shoving her to the ground,
which caused her to tear ligaments in her right knee.
A representative for Brown told Mail
Online: 'Chris didn't do this. The club also says they are unaware of
this happening. Everyone with Chris knows nothing about this.
'The
girl has not come in in-person to The Anaheim Police Station and she
would not go into details with the police regarding her injuries - she
only told them that she was pushed. She said all of this over the phone.
She also didn’t call the police at the time she's saying the alleged
assault happened.'
Brown's
representative added: 'We’re getting statement from the club. Turns out
this person was wasted and threw her shoe at club security so they
started filming her for liability reasons. Trying to get that footage.'
